报告摘要：In the digital age, anonymity is critically important since individuals' lifestyles, habits, whereabouts, and associations can be inferred from their online transactions. To authenticate without revealing the identity, also known as anonymousauthentication, is an important tool for user privacy protection. Anonymity, however, gives users the license to misbehave. Thus, practical privacy-friendlyauthentication mechanism should provide accountability on top of anonymity.Allowing the service providers to blacklist misbehaving anonymous users is away of ensuring user accountability. In this talk, we present some of our workswhich allow a service provider to anonymously authenticate users while keepingits ability to blocked their future access based on their behavior. We alsodiscuss how our results can be used in applications where privacy is of primeconcerns, e.g., payment systems.
